Sa’Moana Resort

Friday 22nd proved a fateful day for the Assistant manager of Sa’moana.  20mins into a surf at Coconuts, Nik’s board was in half (well, 2/3rds is now polluting the sea…)

The tears couldn’t be seen, but trust she was not a happy kiwi.

If anyone feels like cheering her up and being her hero, she’s willing to accept any offers of free boards and will pay shipping to Samoa. A one time offer to board manufacturers - send her a board and you’ll get a link on the website!

While returning to the resort after an awesome surf our boat came across a turtle which was tangled in a long line and fishing float……terry the turtle wasn’t too pleased at first when he was hauled on board but once he sensed we were trying to help him he calmed down and allowed us to cut him free. It was a thrill and certainly a great feel good deed and when he was slipped back into the deep blue there was hoots and cheers from all on board, what a way to end a top days surfing adventure !……..thanx Brent & Shane [crew]
